U-977 Surrendered to Argentine Navy in Mar del Plata, Argentina 17-Aug-45.  Moved to Rio Santiago Naval Base, Buenos Aires.  Transferred to US Navy.  Departed Rio Santiago 11-Sep-45 escorted by USS Cherokee.  Arrived in New London, Connecticut 12-Oct-45.   Torpedoed by USS Atule off Cape Cod, Massachusetts 13-Nov-46

U-1105 Surrendered at Loch Eriboll, Scotland, on 10-May-45.  Used for trials by the Royal Navy as N-16 between Jul-45 and Nov-45. Transferred to the US Navy in Dec-45, arriving at Portsmouth Navy Yard, New Hampshire on 2-Jan-46 for evaluation of her anti-sonar rubber coating.   Sunk on 29-Sep-48 in Chesapeake Bay in the first of two depth charge tests. Raised on 18-Aug-49 and towed to the Potomac River. Sunk in a second depth charge test on 19-Sep-49 off Piney Point, Maryland

U-505 Captured at sea by US Navy TG 22.3 off West Africa on 4-Jun-44.  Arrived Bermuda 19-Jun-44.  Used for trials and training in Bermuda until May-45.   Gifted to the Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago on 9-Mar-54.  Currently on display.

U-1406 Surrendered at Cuxhaven, Germany on 5-May-45.  Scuttled at Cuxhaven on 7- May-45.  Raised and transported to the US on the deck of the US transport vessel Shoemaker arriving at Portsmouth Navy Yard, New Hampshire on 11-Oct-45. Studied but never repaired or put into service by the US Navy.   Sold for scrap in New York in May-48 to Interstate Metals Corp.

U-2513 Surrendered to Allied forces at Horten, Norway 8-May-45.   Transferred to UK departing Oslo on 3-Jun-45 arriving at Lisahally, Northern Ireland on 9-Jun-45. Secretly transferred to US Navy in Aug-45 escorted by USS Brant, arriving at New London, Connecticut on 25-Aug-45.   Refitted at Portsmouth Navy Yard, New Hampshire and used for trials and training.  

Sunk off Key West, Florida during rocket tests by the destroyer USS Robert A. Owens 7-Oct-51

U-3008 Surrendered at sea to Allied forces on 11-May-45 ordered to Kiel, Germany arriving 21-May-45.  Transferred to Wilhelmshaven, Germany.  Transferred to UK, departing Wilhelmshaven on 21-Jun-45 arriving at Lisahally, Northern Ireland on 27-Jun-45.  Secretly transferred to US Navy in Aug-45 escorted by USS Brant arriving at New London, Connecticut on 25-Aug-45.   Refitted at Portsmouth Navy Yard, New Hampshire and used for trials and training.   Sold for scrap in Puerto Rico on 15-Sep-55 to Loudes Iron & Metal Co.
