U-805 surrendered to USS Otter and USS Varian on May 12, 1945

    U-805 arrived at Portsmouth, New Hampshire on May 15, 1945. Over the next four days she was followed by U-873, U-1228 and U-234. The records of these boats are found elsewhere in the U-boat Archive.
