  1.)  Deployed on the surface.

  2.)  The accuracy for the first 15 mines amounted to 300 meters.  The last row lay with 2000 meters accuracy, both in east and west direction.  The accuracy to the north or south hardly exceeded 200 meters.  
  3.)  As usual the loading of the 24 mines posed the greatest difficulty (50 minutes).  It is proposed that the boats be given 5 instead of 4 torpedoes and instead forgo 3 mines so that a torpedo can always be kept in the tubes.
