	Aug	10	Tempo. appointed a Lieutenant to rank from 1 Jul 1917.

1920	Apr	17	Det. (Naval Ordnance Plant, South Charleston, West Virginia) and to New Orleans, La., take passage on Army Transport, about 30 Apr for Canal Zone. Upon arrival to tempo. duty pending transportation to U.S.S. TACOMA. Upon falling in with the U.S.S. TACOMA, report for duty as Executive Officer. (Det. 24 Apr Rep. 3 May) (Rep. 10 May).

1921	Oct	13	Det. prior to departure of U.S.S. TACOMA, from Boston, Mass (U.S.S. TACOMA) and to duty Receiving Ship, Boston, Mass. (Det. 15 Oct Rep. 15 Oct).
	Oct	29	Det. (Receiving Ship, Boston, Mass.) and to Naval Retiring Board, Washington, D.C., 1 Nov for examination for retirement, in conformity with Title 15, Chapter 3, Revised Statutes. Upon completion, mail orders at Washington, D. C.
	Dec	10	Transferred to Retired List in the rank of Lieutenant Commander, by reason of physical disability incident of the service effective 5 Dec 1921 in accordance with provision of Section 1453 of Revised Statutes and Act of 22 May 1917.
